Bucks County Committee for Interracial Harmony
PO Box 1262
Newtown, PA 18940

Our Mission

To realize a society free of prejudice — a community of peace and justice. To advance interracial, interreligious and intergroup harmony and to promote cooperative solutions to community problems.

Our Vision

The Committee's vision is to encompass all people from every ethnic and religious background to present a mosaic of the oneness of humanity.

Our History

The Bucks County Committee for Interracial Harmony (BCCIH) was founded in 1980 on the initiative of the Cardinal's Commission on Human Relations of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The founding members met in 1985 to draft by-laws and establish goals. Since that time many initiatives and programs have been developed to support the committee's mission.

We meet on the first Monday of each month, 7:15 p.m., at Pennswood Village, 1382 Langhorne-Newtown Road (Route 413) in Newtown. Please call  215-579-1836 for more information.
